This East Anatolian Şavak Yastik Rug was made for dowry in Eastern part of Türkiye near Elazığ and Tunceli by Savak Tribes. It has best quality hand spun Lamb's wool and it has original handwoven kilim back. It was used as a Dowry Bag or Floor Cushion and you may do the same or use as a fllor rug or plain kilim side(back side) as a floor kilim,too. All our Carpets and Kilims are ''One of a Kind''. It is a piece of an ''Art of Weaving''. It is strong enough to be used on a high-traffic area.
This beautiful Savak Yastik Rug has just been professionally cleaned in Türkiye and for future cleaning, this Şafak Yastık Rug can be washed in the bathtub or on the floor with cold water and natural soap or dry clean.It is ready to be used!
