This Sivrihisar Kilim Cicim was made for dowry at villages in the region of Sivrihisar and it was made for dowry,that's why she made long woven tassels at one end and no tassles at the other end to show it was made for her own ''Dowry''.And she added colorful ''Pon Pons'' on the edges for her ''Wish/Wishes''.All our Carpets and Kilims are ''One of a Kind''.It is a piece of an ''Art of Weaving''. It is strong enough to be used on a high-traffic area.
This beautiful Kilim has just been professionally cleaned in Türkiye and For future cleaning, this Kilim can be washed in the bathtub or on the floor with cold water and natural soap or dry clean.It is ready to be used!
