This Kilim was made for dowry in Central Anatolia, Kayseri, Gömürgen. It has a very beautiful Mihrap and wonderful colors. It is in it's oroiginal condition and some of the threads at the top are slightly unraveled but if needed we can secure them before shipping or if you prefer as it is we will ship it at it's original condition. It is a highly collectable Turkish Kilim rug and one of the best Turkish kilim we ever seen. It was woven very finely with very thin hand spun lambs wool. All our Carpets and Kilims are ''One of a Kind''. It is a piece of an ''Art of Weaving''. It is strong enough to be used on a high-traffic area.
This beautiful Kilim has just been professionally cleaned in Türkiye and for future cleaning, this Kilim can be washed in the bathtub or on the floor with cold water and natural soap or dry clean. It is ready to be used!
