This Anatolian Tribal Soumak Kilim Çuval / Chuval was made for dowry. It has it's original and very finely woven band and such Chuval Kilims were made and used as Dowry Bag, Grain Bag, Storage Bag, Transport Bag, etc. She made brown color original hand woven kilim back with natural organic undyed brown sheep's wool to make it original Chuval and to make it more preety look and more spcial & unique. She added long threads to some parts to give a special decorative look and for making wishes that only she will know to make her wishes become real. It is in it's original condition and highly collectable. It can be used as a floor rug with two different sides, front soumak side with tribal nomadic designs and back side with simple minimalist kelim rug, and it can be used as wall hanging, large floor cushion / pillow,etc. It had some small damage at the brown kilim back and it was repaired and stitched by the granddaughter of the weaver long time ago and it is called ''yama'' and these beautifully made YAMA works gives an extra beauty and charm to the beautiful and collectable Anatolian Yörük Sumak Çuval Kilim. It is the best and most special Chuval one can find. All our Carpets and Kilims are ''One of a Kind''. It is a piece of an ''Art of Weaving''. It is strong enough to be used on a high-traffic area.
This beautiful Anatolian Tribal Soumak Chuval Kilim has just been professionally cleaned in Türkiye and for future cleaning, this Anatolian Tribal Soumak Chuval Kilim can be washed in the bathtub or on the floor with cold water and natural soap or dry clean. It is ready to be used!
